Aaloo (potato) - 500 gm
Maida (refined flour) - 2 tbsp
Yellow Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1" piece (finely chopped)
Green Chilli - 6-7 (finely chopped)
Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
Lemon - 1
Curry Patta - 1 bunch
Refined Oil - 200 ml
Breadcrumb - As required
Salt to taste
1. Boil aaloo, peel, mash and mix salt.
2. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a Kedahi. Add mustard seeds.
3. When seeds sputter, add ginger, green chillies and curry patta.
4. Fry a little. Add mashed aaloo and stir fry.
5. Add juice of 1/2 lemon and cool. Make round shape flat chops.
6. Prepare a thin batter of maida in water.
7. Dip chops in the batter and roll in breadcrumb.
8. Deep fry and serve hot with sauce or chutney.
