Boiled Aaloo (Potato) – 3 (medium size, cut in big pieces)
Onion – 1 (medium sized, finely chopped)
Jeera – 1 tsp
Jeera Powder – 1 tsp
Dry Ginger Powder – ½ tsp
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
Amchoor – ½ tsp or as per taste
Green/red Chilli – 1-2 (cut in big pieces)
Mustard Oil – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
1. Heat oil in kadahi and add jeera, allow it to crackle.
2. Add chopped onion and turmeric powder. Fry on medium heat till light brown.
3. Add boiled aaloo, chillies and salt. Fry for 3-4 min. on medium heat.
4. Add jeera powder and dry ginger powder. Fry for another 2-3 min.
5. Add amchoor and fry for 1-2 min on low heat.
6. Serve hot with paratha/ chawal-daal.
