Bhindi - 200gm
Onion - 1, medium
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Whole Red Chilli - 1
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Mustard Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
1. Cut bhindi to about 2 cm pieces. Cut thin slices of onion of approximately 2 cm length.
2. Heat oil in Kadahi. Add jeera and allow it to splutter. Break red chilli into 2-3 pieces and add to the oil.
3. Add Bhindi and turmeric. Fry on high heat for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add Onion and salt. Fry on high heat for another 1-2 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat to minimum. Cover and cook till done, stirring intermittently.
6. Bhindi fry is ready and it can be served with rice-dal or with roti/paratha/poori.
