Aaloo – 5 (medium size)
Tomato – 2 (medium size)
Dhania powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric (हल्दी) powder – 1/2 tsp
Panch phoran (पाँच फोरन) – 1 tsp
Mustard oil – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
1. Peel and cut potato (aaloo) into small pieces.
2. Heat oil in pressure cooker. Add panch phoran to it.
3. When phoran is ready, add potato and turmeric, and stir for few minutes.
4. Add chopped tomato and stir for few more minutes.
5. Add dhania powder and salt, and stir for 2 minutes.
6. Add water and pressure cook for 5 minutes.
7. Green/red chilli can also be added with the phoran, if desired.
