Aaloo – 3 medium size, cut lengthwise (approx. ½ cm thick)
Parwal (परवल) – 5-6, cut lengthwise (approx. ½ cm thick)
Onion – 3 medium size, sliced
Jeera Seeds – 1 tsp
Jeera Powder – 1 tsp
Haldi Powder – ½ tsp
Green chilli – 1-2
Mustard oil – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Water – 1/2 cup
1. Heat oil in the pressure cooker. Add jeera and allow it to crackle.
2. Add onion and green chilli and saute for 3-4 min. on high heat.
3. Add aaloo, parwal, haldi and jeera powder and stir for 2-3 min.
4. Add water and salt. Pressure cook for 6-7 min.
5. Serve hot with roti / paratha.
