Apples - 5 (approximately 2" size)
Milk - 1 litre
Sugar - 6 tbsp
Ilaichi Powder - 1/2 tsp
Kaju (cashew nuts) - 20 gm
Kishmish (raisin) - 20 gm
1. Boil milk and reduce to half. Add ilaichi powder and thicken the milk further.
2. Add 2 tbsp sugar, mix and remove heat.
3. Remove skin and scoop out central portion from the apples.
4. Heat half cup water with 4 tbsp sugar in a pan.
5. Add apples in the pan and cook covered under steam till apples become soft. Cool.
6. Fill the cavity of each apple with chopped kaju and kishmish (dry fruits).
7. Put apples individually one each in a small bowl or cup.
8. Pour and top the apples with thickened milk. Serve cold.
