Moong Daal - 3/4 cup (soaked in water for 1 hour)
Aata - 1 cup
Dry Red Chilli - 2
Cumin Seed - 1 tsp
Hing - 1 big pinch
Haldi - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as required
Cloves - 2
Green Cardamom - 2
Oil - as required
1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
2. Add cloves, cardamom, cumin, red chilli and hing.
3. Stir for a few seconds and add soaked daal, haldi and salt. Mix well.
4. Add 2 tbsp water and cook under pressure for 10 minutes on low heat.
5. Cool and mash daal. Keep aside.
6. Make a roti like soft dough by adding required water in aata.
7. Divide dough into roti size loyias and fill 1 tbsp of the daal filling.
8. Roll into rotis of 6-7" diameter.
9. Heat a tawa and cook these rotis, brushing oil on both sides, as desired.
10. Serve with with your favorite gravy dish and kheer.
