Sooji (rawa) - 1 cup
Posto (poppy seeds) - 1 cup
Onion - 1 (medium size, finely chopped)
Tomato - 1 (medium size, finely chopped)
Capsicum - 1 (medium size, finely chopped)
Chukandar (beetroot) - 1 (medium size, finely chopped)
Gajar (carrot) - 1 (medium size, finely chopped)
Patta Gobi (cabbage) - 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Bread - 10 slices
Refined Oil - as required
Salt to Taste
1. Add water to sooji till it is just fully submerged. Allow to soak for 20-30 mts.
2. Add all the vegetables, salt and pepper. Mix well.
3. Spread the sooji mix on the bread slices and sprinkle posto to cover the top.
4. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non-stick frying pan.
5. Put the bread slice on the pan with posto side down.
6. Cover and simmer for about 30 secs or till the vegetables are done.
7. Turn upside down and repeat step 6.
8. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
