Besan (gram flour) - 2 cup
Desi Ghee - 1/2 cup
Sugar - 3/4 cup
Water - 1/2 litre
Chhoti ilaichi - 2 (powdered)
1. Heat ghee in a Kadahi.
2. Add besan and ilaichi powder.
3. Fry on low heat till besan turns to light brown colour.
4. Add water and sugar together. Mix.
5. Cook and fry till ghee starts separating.
6. Remove heat and spread halwa over a greased plate.
7. Cut into diamond shape and serve when set.
