Green Peas - 1 Kg (pods)
Tomato - 1 (large, cut in 4 pieces)
Onion - 1 (large, chopped)
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Haldi - 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Tejpatta - 2
Daalchini (cinnamon) - 1"
Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Dhaniya Patta - 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green Chilli - 1 (chopped
1. Deseed pods and keep peas aside.
2. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
3. Add daalchini and tejpatta. Fry a little.
4. Add onion and jeera powder. Fry till onion turns pink.
5. Add peas and tomato. Fry.
6. Add haldi, salt, garam masala powder and 1 cup water.
7. Cook till done. Garnish with dhaniya patta and green chilli.
8. Serve with puri or deep fried chiwda.
