Baked Chicken (oil-less)

Baked Chicken


Dressed Chicken - 1 Kg (cut to medium size pieces)
Garlic Paste - 3 tbsp
Ginger Paste - 3 tbsp
Curd - 100 gm
Salt - 2 tsp or as per taste
Black Pepper - 5 to 6 nos.
Dry Red Chilli - 5 to 6 nos.
Cashew Nuts - 5 to 6 nos.
Peanuts - 8 to 10 nos.

Method of Preparation

1. Wash and clean chicken pieces.
2. Dry roast pepper, red chillies, cashew nuts and peanuts to a golden brown mixture.
3. Grind the mixture to a paste.
4. Add this paste to chicken pieces along with ginger paste, garlic paste, curd and salt.
5. Mix well and allow to marinate for two hours in a refrigerator.
6. Bake in an electric oven for one hour at 180 degree Centigrade.
7. Serve hot with an optional dash of chat masala and/or lemon juice.
