Chicken Butter Masala


Chicken - 1 Kg
Onion - 200 gm (finely chopped and fried in oil)
Tomato - 3 (medium size)
Garlic - 6 pods
Ginger - 2"
Garam Masala Powder - 2 tsp
Plain Butter - 250 gm
Refined Oil - 100 ml
Kashmiri Mirch - 1 tbsp
Maida (refined flour) - 3 tbsp
Dhaniya Patta - 1 bunch
Sugar - 1 tsp
Salt to Taste

Method of Preparation

1. Cut, clean and wash chicken pieces.
2. Marinate chicken with maida, salt and little oil.
3. Make masala paste of ginger, garlic, garam masala, kashmiri mirch, tomato and onion.
4. Fry chicken pieces in oil. Add sugar and stir a little.
5. Add masala paste and one-and-a-half cup water.
6. Cook till chicken is tender.
7. Garnish with butter and dhaniya patta before serving.
