Pan Cake

Ingredients

Maida - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Sodium Bicarbonate - 1/4 tsp
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Milk - 3/4 cup
Egg - 1
Oil - 1 tbsp for batter + as required for cooking
For topping - honey/maple syrup, butter, blackberry, strawberry etc as desired

Method of Preparation

1. Mix together maida, sugar, salt and sodium bicarbonate.
2. Combine the maida mix with milk, egg and 1 tbsp oil.
3. Mix well to remove any lump and make a smooth pancake batter.
4. Heat pan and pour about 1/4 cup of the batter.
5. Cook on medium heat with little oil till sides are lightly browned.
6. Top the pancake with honey or maple syrup and butter.
7. Decorate with blackberry, strawberry etc and serve hot.
